Trust is not a slogan. It's a belief.
To succeed in this industry you have to trust your buying group.
One way Castle earns your trust is to be transparent. We strive to be clear and transparent in all our dealings with members and vendors.
"I know Castle is focused on my needs and my success. When I need answers, I can pick up the phone and call Ken Jenkins (President) or James Jones (Vice President)," says Castle member Jamie Adams.
Castle is equally determined to build trust with vendors. We negotiate hard on behalf of our members but at the same time we are respectful of each other. There's no strong-arming, no posturing. In return, we guarantee every purchase is paid. Since 1963 we have never defaulted on a payment to a vendor.
Trust is equally important inside Castle and it starts at the top. As president Ken Jenkins says, "We've made a deliberate attempt to deliver on what we say we will do. This has developed a strong sense of trust between the members and head office. We ask our members to lean on us when they need assistance specific to a competitive price situation, delivery or changing market conditions. If a member needs assistance it's all hands on deck."
